After the shoot, photos are processed within 2-5 days depending on current workload and the number of photos taken. From there all photo selects are uploaded to a private web site for viewing. At that point you can share any of the photos on social media and select your favorites. If you would like to order prints we'll discuss sizes and quantities and any additional costs. From there you'll download the hires photos from the session and I'll mail any prints you've ordered.

Normally we want to aim for photo sessions to happen closer to when the sun is setting. The light gets softer, the wind calms down and the skies get beautiful.
Time of day
At the time of booking a $100 non-refundable retainer fee is due. This guarantees your time and date for the shoot, and guarantees my time will not be lost to other bookings. The balance of the shoot is always paid at the time of the session and includes 9% sales tax per the state of Alabama.
Retainer fee
Because we're in the South it's always a good idea to bring a brush for the wind, a mirror to make sure you look your best, a tissue to dab the moisture, your children's favorite toys and a snack/drink. A blanket or piece of furniture is something to think about as well.
What to bring
The main thing to remember is that we want you to be comfortable, but as a general rule don't wear any stripes or patterns for the photos. They can play tricks with the camera and draw attention to a particular person. Also try and wear similar hues or saturation of color to balance out the photo. So for example, if one person wears a pastel pink shirt have others in the photo wear pastel blues, greens or other colors. It's always good to dress in style, but remember the test of time and how long that photo might be hanging in the living room.
