I'm truly blessed that I get to do what I love for a living. From commercial photography where creativity, lighting and the technical side must be exact, to wedding photography where you have to know how to get what you want under pressure for an extended length of time. I love it all and it's very satisfying on a personal and professional level. I've photographed hundreds of weddings in my 11 years of business and I just can't imagine doing anything else...or ever putting the camera down.
My inspiration - from the smallest details, to my client's grand vision for the day. I want my photos to express emotion, movement and tell a story without looking forced. Obviously there are many ways to achieve this, but I prefer a blending of styles. I would define mine as lifestyle, photojournalistic and candid.
In 2017 I received my professional certification from the Professional Photography Association of America (PPA). Did you know there are less than 1,700 Certified Professional Photographers (CPP) in the world?...and I'm the only CPP in Mobile county?
